TOASTED ONION CHEESEBALL
– Pouch seasoning mix
– 375 g (1½ cup) cream cheese, softened 30 sec. in microwave
– 50 ml (¼ cup) grated cheddar cheese
– 45 ml (3 tbsp) real mayonnaise
– Pouch (#1) coating of toasted onion
Blend seasoning mix with softened cream cheese and mayonnaise with an electric mixer. Add cheddar cheese with a spoon. Empty onto a large piece of plastic wrap, use the plastic wrap to form into a ball and place in refrigerator for minimum 1 hour. Just before serving, put the cheeseball pouch (#1) coating in a bowl and roll the ball in it until coated all over. Serve with your favourite crackers or crusty baguette. Note : take cheeseball out of refrigerator 30 minutes before serving to slightly soften.
